75 Whampoa Drive

To add a natural element to the interior, we opted for wood as the primary material of choice. Wood is one of the most versatile materials available today: from walls to floors to furniture – the choices are endless. It adds a warmness and sturdiness to the space, while providing a distinctive visual appeal that only it can provide. We also utilised natural light to further enhance the aesthetics of the space, making the home appear brighter and more spacious.

Nature has always been one of the main inspirations when it comes to interior design. Therefore, adding a hint of nature into an interior creates a soothing and calming ambience in the space. In this interior space, we decided to add natural representative elements such as wood, stones, and plants to complement the overall design concept, adding more “life” to the environment.

Natural textures go well with most design concepts, adding a unique charm to interiors. Wooden floors, doors, walls, and furniture not only add a sense of life to the interior, they also make the area become more inviting and welcoming for loved ones and guests. Hence, we utilised wooden elements in parts of the home where guests and visitors will often be such as the living room, kitchen, and dining area.

For this project, the homeowner wanted the interior to be vibrant yet not overwhelming that it becomes unappealing. Blue is evocative and moody and as a colour that represents as the sky and the sea, it is perfect for bringing the outdoors into a space. Hence, i-Chapter decided to use a bright blue hue as the primary colour for the home. Moreover, lighter blues are known to have calming effects which make them ideal for retreat and relaxation. Hence, the homeowners will become calm after arriving home from a hard day’s work.

Over the years, wood has become a staple material in interior designing. Present in furniture, doors, walls, floors, and many more, wood is seen in almost every home today. As seen in this project, the right usage of wood to furnish your home adds a classy and stylish look and feel to your home that other materials are unable to provide. Wood also provides homeowners with warmth and cosiness, two attributes that every home should offer.

Yellow has always been associated with vibrancy and cheerfulness, therefore it is a great colour option to use if you are planning to brighten up your living space. Instead of opting for an-all white theme, we decided to add in shades of yellow to add a pop of colour, as well as to give a fresh and refreshing appeal to the home.

Colonial style interiors are often represented by a primarily-white colour theme and revolve around elegance, comfort, and luxury. To reflect a colonial setting, i-Chapter opted to use mainly white-coloured furniture with occasional pops of colour to break the monotony. A chandelier was also installed in the living room to grandeur to the space.

Although they are at opposite ends of the colour spectrum, the colours black and white work surprisingly well together when interior designing is concerned. The right combination of black and white furnishings gives a sophisticated and mystical look to interiors that is perfect for a modern home.

Different shades of blue have their own characteristics and affects humans differently. Lighter blues have calming properties which make them ideal for spaces meant for relaxation such as the bedroom. On the other hand, darker shades of blue bring an energetic feel to the space especially when used together with white. i-Chapter combined a variety of blue tones to decorate this home, reflecting their uniqueness when used in different spaces.

The symbiosis between man and nature is the central focus for this contemporary design concept. The addition of natural elements into the living space adds warmth, texture, and variety to the home, making it more welcoming to guests.

FORMAL LOOK DESIGN (Blk310C, Punggol way)

The colour brown might seem boring and rather uninteresting at first. However, when used correctly, shades of brown can bring warmth, cosiness, and grounded harmony into interior design concepts and enhance the overall aesthetics of your home without the risk of going overboard.

ELEGANT AND FUTURISTIC MARVEL THEME (338c Anchorvale Crescent #04-41)

MODERN SCANDINAVIAN THEME (812C Choa Chu Kang Avenue 7 #05)

This design theme emphasises mainly on practicality and cosiness, hence the inclination towards pale-coloured walls, flooring, and furniture to create a comfortable and peaceful ambience. “Feng shui” elements were also incorporated into this modern Scandinavian concept, therefore combining Western aesthetics with Eastern beliefs.

MODERN CONTEMPORARY THEME (494G Tampines St 45 #08-558)

The generous usage of black, incorporated together with off-whites and other colour combinations, exudes a classy and modern appearance for the interior. The wooden flooring used throughout the home elevates the overall visual appeal, giving the interior a more refined finish.

11 Mount Sophia

White is used as the primary colour of choice to make the interior appear more spacious while the blue sofa adds a brilliant touch of colour to the living area. To maximise the limited space, the kitchen and living room areas are placed side-by-side without any partitions. A built-in dining table that can be folded into the TV feature wall when it’s not in use is also added to give more functionality and convenience to the space!

The electric blue kitchen cabinets give the home a refreshing look that rejuvenates the senses. The geometric shapes on the main feature wall adds a contemporary touch to the living space, giving this home eternal class that will last across time.

For this home, the design brilliantly combines light and dark shades to create depth and contrast in every space of the home. Furthermore, pendant lights and modern furniture are used to give this interior a sophisticated look and feel.

By choosing shades of brown as the primary colour scheme of this home, our designer has managed to create a cosy and comfortable haven for the homeowners to come back to every day. Different areas of the home are brilliantly divided through the use of elevated floors and different flooring materials.The hidden light feature and curved false ceiling also gives this home a contemporary finish.

The main colours used in this home are mostly inspired by nature. The combination of brown, blue, white, and black complement each other well, creating a modern and refreshing interior space. The main focal point of the home is the black and off - white wall at the dining area which gives the space a grand and majestic finish.

Nature-coloured palettes like grey, blue, and brown are used in the living room to create a warm and inviting vibe to welcome guests. The white walls make the living room with low-hung celing appear taller than it actually is. The pendant lights and chandelier in the kitchen and dining area gives a modern twist to the space.

275 Pavilion Circle

The elegant TV feature wall – with its marble finishing and hidden lights fixtures – acts as the main focal point for the living room. The bluish carpet and cushions make the living room appear calmer and more soothing. For the children’s bedroom, light blue is chosen to add a pop of colour to the room while creating a relaxing vibe to promote sleep. In the adult bedrooms, dedicated workspaces are created for added functionality.

The abundant usage of wood throughout the entire home gives this residence a natural and cosy ambience. The feature wall with exposed bricks add a unique textural element to the living room, while the blue sofa provides a nice contrast to its surrounding.

Dark and neutral palettes are brilliantly used to create depth and contrast for this interior space. Plants are also used abundantly to add life and vibrancy to the space.

The neutral palettes used for the walls and ceilings serve as a canvas for darker shades and other more vibrant tones to pop out and be more visually appealing. Apart from aesthetics, another key focus for this project was practicality. Every room was equipped with ample storage capacity for added functionality for easier living.

For this project, the home features an abundance of wood and earthy tones, which gives the interior setting a warm and down-to-earth vibe that soothes the senses – perfect for relaxing after a long day at work.

The bright interior makes the colours pop and appear more spacious and visually-appealing. Glass panels and partitions are used abundantly to provide an unrestricted view of the outdoors and other parts of the home, at the same time making the home appear more expansive. In terms of the colour scheme used, white and earthy tones are the palettes of choice to add warmth to this modern home.

To maximise useable space for this interior setting, multiple hidden storage elements are used to ensure that the home remains tidy and organised. Neutral palettes are also used throughout the home, creating a warm and inviting ambience.

A custom project successfully executed by our team as we built and designed this bungalow from the ground up. Both interior and exterior design were renovated to achieve a modern yet classy outlook. We incorporated marble tiles, wooden paneling, and decorative furnishings to achieve this modern lux design.

Every part of this home is well-illuminated, be it with natural light or manmade lighting, making them appear spacious and airy. Neutral colours, clean lines, and open space layouts come together to make this a relaxing and comfortable home that the homeowners cannot wait to go back to every day.

The living room features wood-rich elements and plants, giving it a back-to-nature theme that adds life and serenity to the main space of the home. As for the kitchen, the dark blue cabinetry adds a rich contrast to the white brick walls, creating depth and balance to the space. We have also created a designated spot for the homeowners to indulge in their favourite gymnastic rings workout at the comfort of their own home!

Furthermore, to increase usable space around the home, furniture such as platform beds and floor-to-ceiling wardrobes are installed for added functionality. This Circuit Breaker-proof design fulfills the homeowners’ lifestyle needs without ever living the home, with features such as a dedicated study and an indoor gym!The homeowners also preferred using dark colour schemes, which led to the usage of dark brown and black as the main colours for the interior. Also, built-ins are also added to give this living space extra practicality and to give the interior a clean-cut and luxurious finiah.

The lack of walls and partitions open up the space, which are replaced with sliding doors, which saves space and makes it easier for the homeowners to move about comfortably.

This 5-room HDB flat is a representation of Danny's vision of a mancave. The living room serves as a personal sanctuary where he can binge on his shows or have meaningful conversations with his guests. The living room connects directly to the kitchen and dining area without any walls or partitions, making the interior even more spacious than it already is. Earthy tones are used in every space to ensure that the warm and cozy vibe that Danny loves is extends to every part of the home. The selection of lighting fixtures and decorative pieces used throughout the home further accentuates Danny's love for the finer things in life.

The highlight of this home is the spacious and eye-catching open-concept kitchen, which features the homeowner, Kevin's favourite green colour. The kitchen was designed to be able to accommodate Kevin's friends and family when they visit. The no-frills design also extends to the other areas of the home, with an emphasis on using sliding doors and hidden compartments to create a seamless look. Vertical space is also brilliantly utilized in the form of built-in storage compartments and floating shelves, adding functionality for Kevin while maintaining the lean and clean concept.
